about perfect match designsPerfect Match Designs is a one woman business, run by me - Christine Findlater. I started dabbling in wedding stationery design in late 2006 and attended my first wedding fair at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall in August 2007. From there I got some initial bookings which got the business up and running and the very first order was delivered for a May 2008 wedding. I ran the business on weekends and evenings alongside a "day job" but as the business grew, I took the plunge, left my job and since May 2009, I have been running the business on a full time basis and never looked back. I have two main objectives in running my business. Firstly, I want to create gorgeous wedding stationery for you. As you will know if you've browsed the Internet or the wedding magazines or attended a wedding fair, it is an extremely competitive market with a sometimes overwhelming choice of different styles, designs and price points. However I do believe that there is room for everyone as we each have our own style and our own way of doing business. My style is clean, elegant, contemporary designs that use only the best quality raw materials, very much a "less is more" approach. I am not the cheapest nor am I the most expensive. But you will never be able to find fault with the quality of my materials and I firmly believe that puts my designs way above much of what's available on the market today. The old saying really is true - you get what you pay for! My designs have come a long way since I first started and I always keep up to date with the latest colour and design trends, constantly refining and updating my ranges. I am very active in the wedding stationery industry and my work regularly appears in bridal magazines such as Wedding Ideas and the Scottish Wedding Directory. Secondly, I want to make the whole process of choosing and ordering your wedding stationery a stress-free pleasure. I now have years of experience of working with brides from all over Scotland and the UK and I've pretty much heard and seen every idea. However, where I can really add value to your experience is to listen to your wishes, show you all the possibilities, narrow down the options, gently steer you in the right direction and create something fabulous to fit your brief. I am also big on customer service and where possible, I will go the extra mile for my customers. Because I run the business full time, I answer emails quickly and make changes to your proofs within a day or so. Although I ask you to allow 14 days for a sample to reach you, you'll probably have it less than a week. I will probably make last minute changes for free even when I could charge for them. If you're really nice to me at a wedding show and show a genuine interest in my work, I might even make you a free sample. If you're on a budget, just say and I will try to work with you. This business is me and I am the business. My reputation and future bookings depend on satisfying each and everyone of my customers. I know that although I spend my life making wedding stationery, you will only ever order it once and that's why each customer gets the same care and attention that my first customers got all the way in 2007! I'm a real person behind this website who lives and breathes wedding stationery 7 days a week from my little studio in the upstairs of my house.
